The venerable Kajetanerkirche in the Quay Quarter belonged for a long time to the Theatiners, but they were not theater people. Many visitors came because of the holy staircase. Only a stone's throw away lived Doctor Paracelsus and there has always been a hospital here where the Salzburgers are well looked after. St. Peter is not far away and a long lonely way leads up to the fortress Hohensalzburg. During Advent it is quieter, but everywhere lights are burning and people are preparing for Christmas.
