The high floor is the oldest building of the ancient fortress in Salzburg. This is where the bishop and sovereign lived in his Golden Room. On the left, Santa Claus is just taking the path through the Keutschachbogen, behind it are the Mayor's Gate and Tower, the great Kuenburg Bastion and the Trumpeter's Tower. In the attic of the bell tower (foreground) there has always been the big fire bell to warn the inhabitants of the city in case of fire danger.
 
 But we do not know how the snowman got into the Bastei.
