Archbishop Markus Sittikus built a lot in Salzburg, including the beautiful Hellbrunn Palace (1615). He liked to spend his holidays there. Then he roamed through the beautiful park and garden, celebrated parties as they fell and always had great fun splashing his guests with water. Just like that. You can still experience that there today, if you want to.

In any case, Hellbrunn has always been home to many animals, even a real reindeer. And of course that was no coincidence, but practical. After all, where should Santa Claus live if not at Hellbrunn? And every year he needs a reindeer for important errands.

After all, he can't carry everything on his own.
